@blamethenile P.S> Thanks for posting. You reminded me that like no other program, aa does not try to convice that it is the best way to live a sober life. The real men and women are my examples I want to follow not because I am SAID so but because I WANT to have what many of them have - happiness, serenity, reunited homes and relationships with family members. That's why I live 12steps. What I saw in your videos was CONVINCING, that's why aa is more atractive, they don't do that ;) Good luck ;)

@blamethenile maybe someday when I will not have what else to do. Now I have 2 kids and my beloved husband and many friends, mostly from aa, I live another life. I won't bother myself, I don't need to proove anyone that aa worked for me, or my husband. I'm just sorry that there are so many undecided people making things up in their mind and thinking (without trying) that 12step program is something awfull. It's really simple when you're through, you become free. <3

@siausiu You confuse disagreement with ignorance. Mike BD

@siausiu Wrong. Watch a few more Blamethenile videos. Mike BD

@blamethenile nobody decides who is "considered" to be a member but a person himself. AA doesn't heal anyone. And it cannot help others suffering from other addictions but alcoholism. You have so little understanding and knowledge about AA..
-
@blamethenile so, you didn't have any problems with drinnking, right? you just decided and stoped? or you never started?
-
@siausiu You tell me, what is an SO? Mike BD
-
@siausiu People who want to stop do so. I didn't say it was easy, I said that is how it is done. Do they want to quit drinking, or do they just want to quit getting the crappy consequences of drinking? Telling them they are powerless to quit unless they submit to the faith-healing psychobabble of steppism worsens the problem. I know that if my only options were to buy into the 12-step BS or continue drinking, I would probably continue drinking. That, however, is a false dilemma. Mike BD

I can not agree MORE I know because my ex of almost 4 years who I stood by through thick and thin Never left his side when he was with me HAS NOW BEEN TOLD TO CUT TIES WITH OLD RELATIONSHIPS AND START "HIS NEW LIFE" What a bunch of crap. The pain that this organization inflicts on sober and good people in alcoholics lives is unmeasurable. Anyone who says this is not true has never really researched WHAT they are taught to do. 90 in 90 days lose old relationship and stick with the winners?
