I know Spence probably thinks she was just going into 'lady of the manor overdrive', but I don't think so. I think there was more, and I think she's doing some of that because she really does want this business deal to work for him. Presented like this, this is the first time it's really driven home to me.
I love the tone it puts while Audrey's lamenting that Richard is gone so much these days. I love the pick up of the music when they start arguing after DuToit goes to bed. I love the way they're arguing after the tour of the estate works -- matches story perfectly, just before the kiss of her hand.
