First off! This is not my AMV. But I notice this version wasn't up and since I've been pretty quiet I decided to upload it. Possibly one of the best (maybe the first extended intro amv of EVA ever.) and my favorite. This vid was circulating in the web long before youtube vids and of its time, just awesome. Enjoy and hopefully I'll finish one of my AMVs again someday.

GRdmon: Yeah, the movie pretty much does that to you. Basically the Heroes fail to save the world as they know it and everyone dies. But since Rei was in control of the evil incarnate she leaves Shinji alive cause he chooses to live on and leaves behind Asuka or an Asuka like person. The End.

Old indeed. I personally would tag everything AMV or MAD. Some animes, very few actually, do have an official extended version of their openings, usually for their last episodes, so for your title I would say AMV. But you can always describe it as an extended opening in your comment section and you can Tag it whatever you want for the search tags.

@GreyFox23 it's funny because the movie is not even the end it's been awhile so i can't remember if it was just 1 episode or 2 that go on after the movie all i know is the rebuild is excellent

@GreyFox23 No. The barriers between peoples souls are removed combining them into a god like entity with Eva 01 and Shinji as a sort of host but he decides against that as he has spent his life lonely and undoes it. The real issue is whether the people who were dying during the impact are dead or alive now.

Greyfox23 not realy. All people becomes case to exist but can come back if they have the will to live. Shinji is the one that chose if humanity should survive and he does chose that othervise adam/rei/lilith would have killed everything (you know she started to make a "ball" out of the redwater (dont remember the name of it, its all the people) so she would have done something with it if Shinji hadnt stoped it. Btw many thinks that Asuka die but thats not true, Shinji doesnt kill her.
