where did you get this corset

@88msoto When done wrong yes, but you can say that about pretty much anything really lol Rule No. 1 of tightlacing is this: "If it hurts, you're doing it WRONG". Your body will let you know if you are pulling it in too much too soon. If you feel any pain or discomfort, you should loosen the corset ASAP. Otherwise, lace it as tightly as you comfortably can and as time goes by you will be able to tighten it more and more and more. You just need patience 8)

I recently purchased my very first corset, and its a full bust long length tight lacing one. I have got the hang of lacing it all by myself, but am wondering why it seems to " gap " at the bust and hips, also known as the top and bottom of the corset. I am not wanting to lace it super tight since I just started wearing it and am taking my time getting used to it. I am hoping that this gapping will go away as I tighten the corset more in the future? Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.

@drumlady7 hi, I've spoken to the corset maker who I get all my corsets from, regarding your message. When you say gap, do you mean where the laces are so that the corset is open at the top and bottom wider than it is at the waist? Did you buy it off the peg or was it custom made? You're right not to overtighten a brand new corset, as it needs time to break in. Once I know what you mean by gapping I'll be able to get a better answer for you :0)

@TotalVintageVixen I mean there is a space between the top of the corset and my bust...when I don't stand perfectly straight, and there is also a gap or space at the bottom because the corset is so long and steel boned, it stands out from my body at the top and bottom. I don't know how else to describe it, maybe I could email you a picture or something ?

@drumlady7 my corset maker Vintage Lynndy Loo says you can email her a picture on info@vintagelynndyloo.co.uk. She can then speak directly with you about your corset. I hope this helps!

you should try undersbust corsets they can be laced tighter than underbust ones. I am sure you can make tightlacing with a lovely underbust corset. I hope we can see you in tighter corset as soon as possible.
and also you should trty to wear tight jeans with your corset... It will be much better dear.love....
