First Dartmouth Tango Festival - Adriana Salgado, Orlando Reyes, Juan Pablo Jofre, Dartmouth Wind S.

The first Argentine Tango Festival at Dartmouth College with Adriana Salgado & Orlando Reyes (dancers & teachers), Juan Pablo Jofre (bandoneon), the Dartmouth Wind Symphony conducted by Matthew Marsit, and many enthusiastic students of Argentine Tango. The included clips were recorded during the following events of the festival:
19 February 2011: 1. Beginners Tango Class, 2. Giros with variations, 3. Colgadas, 4. Rehearsal for Tango Nuevo Concert, 5. Milonga with performances by Juan Pablo, Adriana & Orlando.
20 February: 1. Pre-concert performance on "The Tango and the Bandoneon" and, 2. pre-concert workshop "The First Steps of Tango".
Filming was not permitted during the "Tango Nuevo" concert of the Dartmouth Wind Symphony with the dancers and Juan Pablo, which was the crowning conclusion of the festival.
