Senator Dean Florez Speaks to San Bernardino Co. Democrats

On May 22, 2008, Senator Dean Florez came to San Bernardino to speak at the San Bernardino County Democratic Central Committee (SBCDCC).

Senator Florez is the Chair of the California Senate Government Organization Committee (Senate G.O. Committee), which oversees matters such as Indian Gaming. In that capacity he has demonstrated extraordinary leadership as the 'gate-keeper' who has protected the Ancestral Rights of Native Americans against the greedy developers who would exploit Native Americans in an effort to cash in on the lucrative gaming business.

Dean Florez is serving his last two years in the State Senate and has announced his intentions to run to become the next Lieutenant Governor for California.

Senator Florez understands the need for Alternative Energy and has embraced the vision of California leading the way in Green Energy production.
