  • Eating less calories makes you weight less... but alot of weight-loss experts and site never emphasize on what kind of weight your losing from eating less calories...is it FAT, WATER, OR MUSCLE TISSUE. most likely its a combination of all 3.

    This is very dangerous... In highschool i though losing a few pounds would make me faster in track and field so i cut down on eating and guess what... i was SO WEAK and SLOW. Cutting calories is bad, trust me ive done it many of times and NEVER good

  • @Gideon359 no need to cut calories.. to loose fat u need to improve metabolism First, get temp and pluse high then u loose fat weight only!! U gotta eat Better and More!! not cut back!! thats only puts in starvation mode!!

  • @tlascar thata the whole point! Dont cut back!! in short term it can work but in long term it does not!! If u gotta loose weight u gotta raise metabolism,get healthy first,up body temp and pulse then fat loss comes easy,. But raise metabolism u gotta eat More not less!!   • Yeah, I upped my caloric intake from 2000 to between 3500 and 4200 a day (seriously, not kidding) and lost 80 lbs in a year.

    Granted, I was also exercising a minimum of 45 minutes a day, on average about 7 hrs per week.

    It's about what you eat and what you do, not the calories. Had I eaten LESS calories I'm quite sure I'd still be quite overweight.

    A diet of LCHF worked brilliantly for me. I don't really "count" calories anymore, but if I do, I see I still take in approximately 3,000 a day.

  • And the funniest thing is...we don't burn food...we dissolve it chemically form the enzymes of our pancreas.

    So calories are fiction and only applies to energy being release from something set on fire and its measured in joules.

  • omdz why people stress so much, just munch average, if u g2 lose weight, cut back and exercise but eat protein and dont extreme loss in 1week,

  • I was a big fan of Sean but when it comes to the calorie theory he is wrong. When a person creates a deficit of 3500 will loose a pound because 25 percent of that pound is lean tissue and 75 percent is fat. of those 3500 calories 340.5 are calories from fat and 454 are calories from lean tissue. Every person is also different when creating a calorie deficit if I and zoe go both on a 2000 calorie diet am 240 lbs i will be creating a deficit of 1000 calories and zoe could be eating morethancalneed
