Sutherland Steam Railway Winter Steam Gala 2009 "Western Wonderland"

Hello again everyone.Happy New Year to all of our viewers and subscribers.

We're bringing in the New Year,as usual,with our special Winter Steam Gala event.This is part 1 of 2.The event ran on Sunday January 11th and was dubbed "Western Wonderland",with the roster being:-

The locomotives came together to provide a special intensive service featuring passenger trains,local trains,freight trains,tanker trains, light engine moves and double headed runs.Part 2 will be aired soon.

does this track saty out all year if so where do you get the outdoor track from for 00 gauge

Yes it does. It's all normal Hornby track as all Hornby track is now coated in silver, making it weather proof. You can get it in almost all model shops or online. You can also use Peco track which is good outdoors. However, we have had little trouble with the Hornby track. It's pretty cheap, sort of(!!), and works well enough. It needs cleaning quite regularly but thats the only draw back. Hope this helps
