AFTER SCHOOL; AT THE JONAS'S

Joe: DEMI?!
Demi: Yes, Joe, it's me.
Joe: But how? I thought you were dead.
Demi: Well...technically, I am. I'm not human anymore, more like a angel.
Joe: *tears in his eyes* I am so happy to see you, you have no idea. *goes to hug her*
Demi: *about to hug him, but then sees cuts on his wrist, stops in her tracks* Joe, what's this on your arm?!
Joe: *looks down to his wrist, and pulls his sleeves down* Mmm, it's n-nothing. *looks down*
Demi: Joe, don't lie to me. I know you're lying to me, now you wanna tell me how you got those cuts?
Joe: *sighs* Fine, but only 'cause I love you so much. *pauses* I've been cutting myself.
Demi: WHAT?! WHY?!
Joe: 'Cause ever since you've left, I've been in so much pain, and this is just one of the ways I deal with it.
Demi: Joe you shouldn't be-Wait, you just said ONE of the ways you deal with your pain, tell me the other ways.
Joe: I don't think that's such a great idea.
Demi: Tell me, NOW!
Joe: Okay, okay, I drink, do drugs, mess around with girls, lash out on others, all that stuff. *looks down, ashamed*
Demi: *furious* Joe, I am very mad right now, but I forgive you.
Joe: listen I know you're mad but if you-Wait, you-you forgive me?
Demi: Yes, Joe, I do. BUT, that doesn't mean I'm not upset with you. In doing those things, are you're doing is causing more pain to yourself. I hope you know that.
Joe: *looks down* Well...there's no other way that I know that can take away my pain, besides doing those things. Besides, you act as if I'm not the only person who lost something.
Demi: I understand that Joe, but there are other ways, punch a pillow, write an angry letter and never send it, counseling. And there are other people who did lose something.
Joe: And name one person.
Demi: That girl today, the one you yelled at in the hallway. Yes, Joe, I saw you.
Joe: *shocked* Mmm-mmmm-mmm, well so what if she's blind, it's whatever.
Demi: It's whatever Joe? She lost her eye sight, do you know how bad that is?
Joe: So, you lost your life, that's way worse.
Demi: Joe, come on, I died, but peacefully, able to see my surroundings and all that, and I can still see you now, even if I'm dead. But that girl, she's blind, she will never be able to anything, not even how she looks in the morning. When she dies, she'll have to picture it, and that's it. She probably thinks you look like a evil monster after the way you treated her. So not being able to see is a lot worse than being dead.
Joe: *thinks about it* Well I get what you're saying, but I don't think I can stop doing all these things I'm doing so easily.
Demi: And what if someone helped you, besides me?
Joe: Maybe, I guess.
Demi: Okay, then have that girl that you yelled at help you.
Joe: Okay-WAIT WHAT?! NO!
Demi: Come on Joe, and if she helps you, you can help her, you can be her eyes.
Joe: NO!
Demi: Joe, please, try for me.
Joe: Fine, only 'cause you said so and 'cause I love you so much.
Demi: Now that's my Joe, and try to be nice to her, please.
Joe: Fine.
Demi: Okay Joe, I have to go now, but remember what I said, and always keep me in your heart. *kisses his lips*
Joe: *closes his eyes, and kisses back, trying to make it last forever*
Demi: *smiles, and pulls away* I gotta go, until next time. *blows him a kiss and fades away*
Joe: *staring at the space where Demi used to be, and catches her blown kiss* I will always keep you in my heart.

NEXT DAY; AT SCHOOL

Miley: *in the hallway being picked on (Mandy didn't go to school, she was running some errands)* Leave me alone!
Jeese McCartney: Shut up no eyes! *pushes her to the ground, and kicks her*
Cody Linley: *kicks her also, and laughs* Dumb bitch.
Miley: *coughs, and in pain* Stop it please, you're hurting me!
Joe: *coming in through the Main Entrance, sees what's happening and runs over* McCartney, Linley, STOP!
