Quite beautiful work, and woman. My memories of her are of a straight laced, serious good girl type in the movies. A very good supporting actress type. Always made a picture good, but herself didn't stand out, which was good since I don't remember her being the star. There is a place for that! I somehow missed the sexy Martha, and the sex kitten looks. But she was beautiful, and got more beautiful with age.

May she rest in eternal peace! Yes, a most beautiful woman & -yes- she had a role in an A&C movie. I remember her best in '64/"The Carpet Baggers; '58/"Houseboat"; and most all '65/ "Sons of Katie Elder"!

Thank you so much for this truly touching tribute to one of my all time favorite actresses. She was so underrated, but so talented. And her dedication to husband Hal Wallis was amazing. After his passing she couldn't bare living in California, and moved to lovely Santa Fe and hasn't been seen since.
