MTU was the "home team" because they were hosting the event. And Ken Daniels would've been equally emotional no matter which team scored the OT goal, it's just the kind of commentator he is.

It's stupid that a comentator get excited for an overtime goal. I think you may being a little unfair. I personally like an excited comentator, makes the moment more exciting.

Actually Ken Daniels reacts like that for everyone. I didn't see the game so he might be anti-MTU but he is not really biased except when it comes to the Red Wings.
