This "guide" will contain 4 parts. It will include configuration of the MOUSE, DISP-driver and SOUND. Later on I'll try to get networking in order and show you some www.
Fully working system on 1920x1200 res. I'll do the description here as soon as possible. I will have to complete it in sessions as I go....Stay tuned:
1. Download the disk-images from: http://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Software/NEXTSTEP/Floppy_Images/
If you change the file-extension to .img, than you will be able to mount them in VMware.
2. Now you have to get the CD-image for NEXTSTEP 3.3 You can make an image of an existing CD or you can find it on the net (no more help here)
3. Create a new VM with the settings I chose. The HD must be smaller than 2gig and should be PRE-allocated.

Hi, did you have set up the network? I followed the instructions found in the NeXTcomputer forum but i can't surf the net, omniweb say me no host for every web site. Do you tuoni i type wrong ip?

is it possible to do this through boot camp as nextstep supports x86?

I never tried. I suppose it could be possible with OpenStep that would work on "any" x86-plattform.
Nextstep, maybe not.
