Hatsune Miku - Qualia

In a pure white world...

Hachi based this on a story he wrote on his blog about a month ago, part of which got adapted into the intro. Here's the original.

"Qualia"

"In a pure white world, there is nothing.
No heavens, no earth, no horizon, no dogs, no cats, no dinner menus, no mothers, no shadows, no warmth.
Nothing exists there.
There is one girl there, simply standing.
What she is doing there is unclear.
No one is there but her, much less of the opposite sex. Not one other person exists.

She does not know color.
Not blue, not red, not green, not the color of dark rainclouds, not the pink of a faded marble, not the yellow of an eaten mandarin.
There is only the pure white world.
What "white" really means is unclear.
For nothing in that world is colored anything but white. Not one other thing exists."

Say, not to force any ideas on anybody, but you know any other stories about a man, a woman, and an apple? Definitely doesn't work perfectly, but it's an interesting way of looking at things.

Hachi's other PVs were done with a mouse ("Mouse Warrior Hachi-san"), but this one was done with scanned-in drawings, which seems to have worked out pretty well. Also, widescreen!

He has a Pixiv account (member 259546), but right now, it only has pictures he used in this video. And I'm not sure if he actually does any art other than for Miku songs, so that might be the only kind of thing that gets posted there.
