I am stunned by this, as I`ve never heard of this formation before. So, many sincere thanks for this! It`s amazing. I would love to see the places you mention in 2:56 (huge hint :)

Because of the limestone, are there many caves there?
acpren 1 year ago
@acpren There are 2 main caves open to visitors, the Ailwee caves and the Doolin cave. But of course there are hundreds of more dangerous caves not open to visitors. you would need to be properly trained to explore these ones.

how much time to walk th burren; 1 half hr x 2=3hrs to n fro?hmm, wt do u need to prepare in stamina?possibility of gettg lost?thks for upload.

This particular walk takes 3 hours in total, 1.5 up and 1.5 down. You dont really need to be fit or prepare stamina, its not steep nor long. But walking in the burren, u have to constantly watch where you take each step, as there is holes and gaps in the rock you walk along, if you dont concentrate, you will possibly damage your foot or ankle. If you only have 2 hours to walk, then just walk for two hours, walking in the burren is not about reaching any type of summit. happy walking!
