The Star-nosed Mole (Condylura cristata) is the 83rd species in my Mammals of the World series.

  • @Tolisakis97 i love your guy's imaginations. It's so creative, but they look like that because the tentacles on their face help them feel around and sense food; IE: worms. They're related to hedgehogs and shrews.

  • @yarow122 there hands have huge claws because they need them to dig effectively. They have eyes because every mammal has eyes, but they don't use them.

  • i think its an mars animal..or an animal from an other planet

    well..

    we see that in mars there was life sometime..

    maybe a comet crashed to earth and had something on it..

    a microorganisms or something like that..

    and this mixed with the dna of a mole...

  • Why do they have eyes, and why are their hands like that? o.O

  • Wow, they look really cute and unique. I like the way they skulk around moving their nose-tentacles over things.
