We try to make the parts part of the "art". Sqare parts look too uniform, triangles are cooler and make the hair optically look denser. We also try to place the part in such a way, that the dreads fall nicely later.

LOL, I guess you are right. You have to work with a little girls patience ;). It takes a long time to put those locks in and also if you have a lot of them maintenance time is very high. I think the fat locks suit her very much.

How big are the individual locks? They look slightly bigger than usual.

It is a little girl, so we did not give her 100 tiny dreads. Too much maintenance. She got about 40 locks.
