Although they aren't as good as those legendary Japanese bands, I admire them. Why? They're trying to bring C-rock back. Rock is almost a lost cause in China b/c the government frowns upon any lyrics/genre that might ignite political or anti-gov't sentiments. Thus, even though they aren't original, they're making a statement. They're demonstrating that Chinese music isn't just a homogenous brand of bubblgum pop artists who don't have half the talent they do. Be polite. Don't hate.

Just because every band does the same thing of ripping of doesnt justify them being more talented. If anything theyre just as shitty as the rest. The producers probably saved them from embarrasment with such a rule.
