The Candy Stripe Bar is a slick way to create a strap of slanted successive lines with relatively minimal effort. One of the many tying techniques used to create friendship bracelets, the bar can be modified to create chevrons, or stripes meeting at an angle. Video by JD of Tying It All Together.

  • How long was the completed braid after you used 6' of it in the demo? I need to know how long the cords have to be for a 71/2 in bracelet.
