Real talk about attending job corps and deciding if you should go or not. I am without a shadow of a doubt promising that I am a catalyst of someone wanting to do something with their life by attending job corps to obtain a better life for myself and my family. There is no limit to how long a person has to attend/stay. The program is self paced and should be taken seriously. I spent 8 months at JC due to procrastination but it should have only been 4 for the trade i was in. Hope this info and vid help the souls that desire a better life. "For I am Gadson and i thank you".

Plz take the time out to watch the 'Job Corps' video of the young lady that further motivated me to attend 'JC' a few weeks b4 i departed to go to 'JC'. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saQGZUTlu10&feature=related

  • I really enjoyed this video mainly because me and you are similar. I graduated 2010 and haven't had much luck with college or work. I work at a Daycare now minimum wage getting no where so I'm thinking about going to job corp. I'm from tx I wonder if they will let you pick a job corp if you know I'll appreciate your feedback :)

  • @LadiiAries1 1st, I wanna thank you for even watching and giving feed back. I'm kinda stuck where I am now seeing as how I'm procrastinating with joining the military now. You do get some say so in deciding on where you want to attend, but in the end, it really falls on which center has an opening for new students. If there are any openings near or away from you, take it. I live in N.Fla and ended up having to attend in South Ga. All in all, I do hope you decide to go.

  • @laronman2008 you're welcome & thank you :) The military is a great choice too i wanted to do the air force but i have flat feet so thats a no lol i'm going to call job corps tomorrow and see what they say I really want to go.

  • @LadiiAries1 The first thing you should do is call a local job corps recruiter. after doing so and if you feel at heart to make that move, do your registration/paper work for entry and from there, they'll give you all the info you need. If u still have questions, feel free to msg me. As far as the military goes, your feet should hinder you from knocking out basic training to get those awesome benefits lol. Good luck new friend and thank you again and you're very welcome.

  • I feel Motivated i have not felt this good in a long time soo thank you very much sir

  • @magicalstarburst1 You are very much welcome ma'am. Glad I could help.

  • This is a good dude who took advantage of something that alot of people take for granted. He was correct about alot of things, and you young people should listen to what he's saying. He has been through it and know what it takes to succeed. He didnt have to get on here and display his experiences, but he did because hes a good dude. Good luck bro, you will go far in life.. God Bless.

  • AND THAT SHIT AIN'T WHERE IT'S AT. I'M DYING TO GO AND COME BACK A NEW MAN. A REAL MAN, WITH GOALS TO COMPLETE AND RESPONSIBILITIES. I'M TIRED OF MY SITUATION SO IT'S TIME TO CHANGE. YOUR WORDS GAVE ME A LIL MORE COMFORT AND PEACE OF MIND AS FAR AS GOING ON AHEAD WITH THIS STEP, SO THAT'S WHY I SAID THANKS. GOOD LOOK ON THAT BRUH AND STAY UP. BLESS
