@ThyReaper Thank you! Some of the others aren't quite as refined yet, but I'll continue experimenting with the particle editor (which is great btw). There are definately a lot of possibilities in it, which becomes quite clear when looking at some of Star Rulers effects (i.e. supernova, planet explosion).

I quite like the effects, especially the particle weapon, railgun, and plasma effects.

So, basically, the mod doesn't work unless you guys give out a compatible patch to the current SR patch?

@Herminatorz This is not what I said; our latest release (1.8.1) already IS fully compatible with the latest version of Star Ruler. This video was just created using Galactic Armory 1.6.2 which has since then become obsolete.
You can grab the latest mod version from moddb, desura or the official mod thread (link is found at the BMS site posted in the video description). If you have further questions concerning the mod, this is also the best place to go to.

3,4 GHz Radeon Graphics Card, 6GB RAM, and it's a stationary PC, so I don't think it's a problem with the hardware.. May seem like a dumb question, but how do you make the game and mod match when they are as far apart as 1.1.0.0 and 1.8.1?
Sorry if I sound like an ass, but I would really like to play the Galactic Armory!

@Herminatorz The gfx errors are probably related to your ATI Catalyst software/driver package; this is a known issue. See the official SR help & support forum for more information.
As for the version numbering, those are two completely different, unrelated things. While the official game version currently is 1.1.0.0, we could've just named our mod version abc or xyz instead of 1.8.1; it is merely the internal version number we have given our mod to differentiate our releases from eachother.

May seem trivial, but does anyone have any ideas as to why all the stars have white "boxes" around them? And when are we going to be able to actually implment the new subsystems? Blueprints are locked...

@Herminatorz 1) I suppose you are playing the game on a notebook with integrated graphics (most likely Intel). These chipsets do not support the way certain shaders are rendered; thus, you are seeing corrupted graphics. You could try disabling shaders to see if it helps.
2) If the blueprint window is not accessible, you are probably using a combination of mod and game that are not compatible with eachother. The latest mod release is 1.8.1 and the latest SR patch is 1.1.0.0.
