Wait a minute... wait aminute.. what were they fighting over?.. I had assumed that guy in the hoodie was going to steal asian dude's wallet in the end, but he just walked away..? Ah.. so it was a hate crime then maybe?.. Sorry, I'm just trying to fill in the gaps, I know you weren't going for a story line tho, I guess..

Good stuff. But I still like your Flash Point-tribute, best!

The only big difference I noticed is that you aren't the one who wins the battle and walks off into the sunset upon victory. Other than that, I think this looks like anything else you've ever done. You're wearing your green jacket in this too.
I definitely wouldn't call this "something completely different" though. You yourself said it's still HK inspired...how is that completely different from what you've done in the past?

awesome...

I'm aware that it's not 100 percent realistic or brawl like, but that's because I'm not actually going for that. There's a give or take, and by that I mean that realism doesn't always look the best. Basically I was trying to get away from the typical HK style, and not be so stylized.

If you wanted to take a look at a good American example of a cool fight that's not too unrealistic just to see something different, try the Grosse Pointe Blank fight between John Cusack and Benny "The Jet" Urquidez (uh..spellcheck that...)...
Still, nice work, way better than anything I was ever able to film or be in, and keep making movies! I really look forward to my subscriptions on this channel.
Eh, personally I don't see much of a difference between this and the flashy HK-inspired stuff, other than a few take-downs. And I don't know ... some of them didn't sell that well.
And what's up with the video quality?

I never said it wasn't HK inspired, because it still is, just not vanilla HK style. I'd say this is a hybrid HK/Korean/American style. First off, the cuts are a lot quicker and the shots are closer. Secondly, the exchanges are less blocking oriented with more wild swings and hits. Third, the rhythm and speed is definitely not typical HK style, because I based those elements on how fast I could shadowbox. Lastly, the high kicks and flashy moves were practically non-existent.

As for the video quality, there's nothing wrong with it. I intentionally desaturated the color and upped the contrast so that it was almost black and white. Not coincidentally when Saving Private Ryan was shown, a bunch of TV viewers called in asking if there was something wrong. Alas, there is nothing wrong, it's like that for artistic effect.
