  • This disassembly took about 1.5 hours.

Screws and blots are all different.

Each piece of slate are approximately 120 lbs.

We appreciate your input. Take good care!

  • 0:29-0:33 crack kills

  • Great information Roostersmokes! Appreciate the input. I'll check into that dolly !! Take care of that back :-)

  • @stripesofadidas Pool Tables come in all sizes and varieties, Which means many bolts and screws and unique hardware. Some tables have a standard range of bolt sizes. Yet many of Manufactures have also made their own unique set ups under the impression that different is better. The slates as well can Vary. The lightest sets can be around 75 to 100 lbs each,8' backed slates are around 200/250+ each, Billiard tables can be around 500 lbs each. Its not always the easiest task.

  • It hurts me to see you two placing the slates down on the floor one by one and lift and wrap and lift and wrap, then trek a mile to the truck only to have a steep ramp at the end, How's your backs. A bit of advice guys, Look up BCA Slate Dolly.

I do this all day long, slate is my nemesis, well staples too ;-). But that dolly has helped in more ways then expected. With the best scenario's and the dolly i can be out the door in under 20 mins. Even with Stairs! Might even work for furniture tops!

  • how long did that take you?

are the screws/bolts all the same or different??

How heavy are the slate pieces?

    great help!!
