@scheie0 No, the English words are actually used in these cases. In Pakistan, the word "wakeel" may be used instead of "lawyer" but generally many English words are understood and even preferred ex. TV, computer,soup, doctor, engineer, ice cream, etc.
In Punjab, do Punjabi's actually use the english words supermarket and lawyer and juice, or are they given in english because of the introductory nature of the lesson
