Thanks for posting one of his best but rarely heard songs.

Billy Joel has always my favorite, ever since I was a little kid. He is the only artist that I can listen to every song on every album. I have my favorites, this being one of them, but I love them all.

Something I like about Billy Joel's music is that it has influences of many genres in that appeals to a lot of different audiences. If you listen to his 52nd street album, many of the songs are jazz-ish and if you look into the less mainstream songs from this album (and others), there are songs that have country/western infuences in the beat or lyrics--like this one. This is one of my favorite songs of his!

Ah how I wish it were so... Actually, I was listening to Gold Radio (60m on MW! You can only really listen to it on the web 'cause the tuning's so bad on the radio that you get random French people's singing coming in over the top O_o) and I heard Billy Joel twice within 12 hours! Unfortunately both tracks were from An Innocent Man... But none the less!
PS. Why does everyone here have such stunning taste in music?!?! I never meet people like you guys anywhere else!

I'm a 16 year old boy and Billy Joel deserves to be played on the radio all the time (: peace x

How true ^^ Unfortunately I can't really see this being played on the radio as it is :( It's a real pity that An Innocent Man is the only album radio stations appear to own...

A Billy J favorite of mine. Love the steel guitar and string arrangement. Also one of my fav BJ albums, great traveling music(CSH is another fav BJ record). You can tell Tumbleweed Connection by Elton John was a big influence on this album.

Ah yes... CSH is horrifically underrated (as is Streetlife Serenade to my mind).
It certainly is great driving music!... Well, when I get control of the CD player anyway :D
