@Ubuuuroi IDK. Everyone that studies cheetahs just say the males aren't known for killing cubs. They say they've always seen male cheetah tolerate cubs while waiting to mate with a female. They don't know why. I guess cheetahs just typically don't feel a reason to kill cubs that aren't theirs, unlike all the other big cats

@Ubuuuroi she knew they weren't going to be harmed since male cheetahs don't kill cheetah cubs, that's why she just sat there and chirped at them. before this scene, they were harassing her for 3 hours before they bothered the cubs at all

The male cheetahs didn't want to hurt the cubs, they were probably the fathers of that litter. Male cheetahs understand the fact that those are their babies.... better than many other big cats. If the males really were planning on attacking the cubs, the mother would have went crazy on them, in full-out attack mode.

no, actually the three males never even met the mother.(the three adult males are offsprings from a famous cheetah named Honey) they were just trying to check if the mother was ready to mate. they wernt after the cubs at all, or else they would of easily killed the cubs! and u were right about the mother not really worrying because the three adult males wernt cub killer. ( some cheetahs will kill cubs just to mate)
