What about abortion and gay rights, you know, the topics we should really be concerned with? The ones that affect us on an everyday level. I will gladly hand the reigns of democracy to our corporate overlords. They obviously are smarter than us.

Congress would not be making any law that infringes on free speech, because corporations can't speak, they have no opinion, no morality, no soul, etc. They have as much right to vote as my car does to vote for lowering tax on gasoline.

The people need to vote for a constitutional amendment to change this. I cannot understand the justices of the Supreme Court being so stupid to pass this. They too must have pockets that are lined by these corporations. Money talks and those five are listening only to their pocketbook. We need to make them listen.

Oh thank you, I see a glimmer of hope. You have my full and total support. This amendment is 30 years late.

Actually, I am for Big government... just run by and for the People, not the Corporations! (I'm for bridge repair, highways, teachers, cops, and health care for all... but, we can still argue that out in the legislature.)

"Congress Shall Make No Law" means just that, any infringement on Free Speech would control who gets elected. so even if an "Amendment" would be passed the 1st Amendment would dis-allow it.
