This experiment was done for extra credit for my Fluid Mechanics class. The substance is a mixture of water and cornstarch. It demonstrates the properties of a non-newtonian fluid. The bowl was placed in the speaker hole of a subwoofer. The subwoofer was powered at tone frequencies between 80 and 100 Hz via a tone signal generator. Sit back and watch the crazy phenomina displayed by this amazing fluid!
