I love this song. I've been trying to find it for 2 weeks, with the pictures that Don painted. This song helps me to relieve stress!

Thanks for the nice synopsis, Strum ........ I don't know much about vG or art in general but I love this song and I appreciate the perspective.

amazing man; and you say we are saying he is good because he comitted suicide: but he was driven to doing that at the end of the day if you thought everyone hated your life's work and you wouldnt you do the same ?

My painting teacher explained Vincent's work this way, "He did everything so wrong that it was perfect."

Perhaps, in her/his way, your teacher had a point to make, but V vG did not do things "wrong"--the bold strokes and impasto were simply a different manner of interpreting the world. Clearly a bridge from Monet/Renoir/Seurat impressionism to the Expressionism of Kirchner,Munch, Dix, et al, V vG turned the painterly world on its ear. Along with Magritte, Kahlo, Hopper, deChirico and a few other Absolutes, Vincent reaches the Sublime Aerie we all strive for. Happy Thanksgiving to us all!!

the one who judges people only from his perspective is considered narrow-minded
right ?

ps. u don't have to love or admire him but plz have some tries to understand other people for a little.
can't it be that difficult ?
