Begins to worry me the tendency of liberal discourse because it´s lacking pragmatic view. They seem to have lost touch with the reality on the everyday life in Europe.

Garton Ash makes some valid and vital points. Integration is key - balancing the life of Islam and commitment to the state: however, the issue is this is clearly incompatible for a great number of Muslims. Hopefully it the religion will evolve to become a bit more liberal - without extinguishing its meaning.
