SPUN Productions - StopGAP Dance Company

SPUN Productions is StopGAP's new outdoor dance for 2012, choreographed to animate public spaces during The Cultural Olympiad.

In this vibrant piece of dance theatre, the StopGAP Dancers will plummet headlong into the chaotic world of an imaginary audience-voting TV show, where you will meet some surprising (and surprisingly familiar) characters as they desperately try to catch the spotlight.

Fusing the techniques of street theatre and integrated dance, StopGAP throws the audience into the theatrical mayhem of bizarre entertainment TV, whose powerful lure drags our wannabes through whimsical acceptance and rejection.
