1. R9' advisers got money each time R9 signed a new contract.

2. Inter wanted to buy R9 in 1996, but R9 had a knee-operation WHEN he left PSV, so Inter was not sure, if R9 will get fully fit - So Barca paid the former world-record-transfer-fee. But Inter made a tentative-contract with R9.

3. Maybe Nike also wanted R9 at Inter, because they made a Inter-sponsor-contract for Summer 1998.

4. In the '90 "Serie A" was the best league in Europe (even though they were ultra-defencive)

Messi é um genio, mas devemos levar em conta que ele possue uma equipe com os melhores jogadores e todos jogam em função dele, RONALDO não é um craque, muito menos um genio, simplesmente o unico FENOMENO, este homem que foi idolo nos dois maiores clubes da Espanha e nos dois maiores da Italia é o melhor jogador que ja existiu sem sombra de duvidas.

Messi é genio, mas RONALDO é fenomeno e nada se compara a isso...

no offence to ronaldo but on some other video somebody was arguing with me ronaldo did all 47 goals on his own ... after watching all these goals i dont think so but yes today barcelona is superior to older one in 1996-1997

no offense to ronaldo he is best striker in history but if u take out messi from current barca team they r just left with tiki taka only ... no offense play no dribbling through tight spaces and plz dont forget ronaldo played in one of best brazilian team of all time in 1998 wc and 2002 wc taking nothing away from ronaldo messi has his own honours and ronaldo his own and we cant compare them one is striker and other is playmaker false 9 and winger(in begining of his career) :)

@matzreenzi10 He was a great player, of course he had vision, but it was not his best feature. I remember this Ronaldo, the guy didn't pass at all, he took the ball and he was already looking to score, from any distance. He was a ballhog, but he was so good that no one really mattered, because he was constant danger to the other team.
