@LTF85199 I think you may be seeing shallow depth of field, and confusing it for lack of sharpness. The dancer is nice and sharp, and that's what matters.

@LTF85199 my job is DOP. I understand film quality. for this lens and machine i think its pretty good sharpness. youTube compression does always fuck it up though for sure. but for the price level this camera produces great results. I think i'll buy one soon to back up my 7D.

@LTF85199 the lack of sharpness is because i was shooting at f1.4.. i could have stopped it down to allow for more stuff in focus as the performer move in/out of the plane of focus, but, i this is just how i like to shoot.. the 5n+24/1.4g combo can be plenty sharp (take a look at "Crasy Globe Tricks")

@boardsdecanada it is not sharp enough.. it requires a trained / keen eye.. I was wondering it may have been an issue with youtube encoding
