  • put a graet or hat on you chmney on more

bird getting in you furnace combustion fan.

  • This is a gas fireplace, not a traditional chimney. He crawled through the gas vent which is about 30 feet long.

  • Yikes! I showed my HVAC teacher this and he says that in his 30 years as a tech, every bird he found was usually stuck halfway down the flue/chimney. He says that bird must have been really dumb if it decided to crawl all the way down into the inducer.

  • I have NEVER heard of shit like this!

  • see it all the time. Usually black birds. Popped the flue off and see little birdy feet sticking straight up. on 90% furnaces I find them making nests in the pipe, have to blow them out with high pressure nitrogen

  • this is soooo funny that lady just cant believe that there is a bird in her funace motor

  • the gas vent is bascly the same thing as a chimney.
