@anglerfly the first name "Wilhelm" could be translated as "William", I believe, so if Wilhelm Bruder had emigrated to America and anglicized his name, he might be named "William Brother".

@anglerfly "Wilhelm Bruder Söhne" means "Wilhelm Bruder's sons". So, this company was run by the sons of Wilhelm Bruder, of the Bruder family. (as mentioned before, the German last name "Bruder" simply translates into English as "Brother", so "Gebrüder Bruder" means "Bruder Brothers", or, "Brother Brothers"!)
"Ignaz Bruder Söhne" was a firm run by the sons of Ignaz Bruder, one of the first Walkirch organ builders. As far as I know, "Ignaz Bruder Söhne" only built barrel organs.

@anglerfly Gebrüder means "Brothers". In Waldkirch existed several companys with the Name Bruder. For example "Gebrüder Bruder", "Wilhelm Bruder Söhne", "Ignaz Bruder Söhne" and "Alfred Bruder"
