In her multimedia research project, scholar Myung H. Choi critiques the role and treatment of women in Korean society. Through her analysis of contemporary Korean cinema and the poetry of Korean women writers, Choi uncovers an emerging feminist voice in Korean culture. Choi's project reshapes notions of Korean women and calls for a change in how images of women are constructed. This multimedia project was produced in the course, "East Asian Cinema," instructed by Professor David E. James.
