On the vid, from the 2nd escape, it looks like the Choker could capture half guard, while the chokee is transitioning to cross mount.

always possible...for sure. Nothing is a 100% but better half guard than getting the snot choked out of ya ;-)

I learned an escape by somehow manipulating the ankles to make him release. He couldn't explain it properly, but i was wondering if you knew such a technique. If I can I'll get a video of it to show you what i mean.

in the part where youre spinning dont you leave yourself open for a guillotine? or am i just imagining things?

It is difficult to get a guillotine from that position because the arm isn't really deep enough (you'd have to switch arms to do it). Also, if you did get it, you'd get a Von Flue Choke from the attempted guillotine.

But, nothing is impossible ;-)

how are you going to tuck your chin in if hes already got you around your throat tight?

Yeah it is. But seriously, I don't want some other dudes blood in my mouth. If someone did this and there were no rules, and this WAS a street fight, I would suggest tucking your chin, and shifting your hits, hammer fist to the groin and work your opponent from there. IN a street fight, there are no rules. I'd suggest taking every measure possible to either stunt your opponent, or give you enough time to run away.

In a self defense situation on the streets, if you find yourself being choked from behind and if you are standing, kneeling, or sitting while being chocked IS IT POSSIBLE to BITE a hunk of flesh from the attacker's forearm that is chocking you. When you pull his arms down and you tuck your chin down, are not your TEETH right there in range to bite down painfully in order for the attacker to release his choke??? Everyone please respond.

there is actually really no escape against a fully set RNC like that............... its impossible... try doing this move while somebody has their hooks in and fully squeeze the RNC.... forget it.... i fully appreciate BJJ and am a BJJ martial artist.... take it from me.... this move works only in movies like this....

thats awesome... i have my own way of doing it but it's always good to have options in even the worst positions. If I ever had students I would be hammering this stuff into em first. because these are the positions they often find themselves in the most at that point in time.... Idk, Man I always wanted to be a martial arts instructor. There's too much BS out there nowadays.

@Submissions101 I have some question regarding about the escapes from the back, How can you escapes when his legs doing a triangle lock without using a footlock i mean a clean escape? i saw many escapes from this position doing the same foolock in youtube. but im looking for something else.
