Yep. Two planes have crashed doing missed approaches into Kodiak but went left instead of right. They both impacted Old Woman's Mountain. The first was a PBY-5A Catalina in 1945 and the second was a P2V-7 Neptune in 1962. The wreckage of both can still be found.
