Final Fantasy VI Fewest Steps Run Boss 1: Whelk

This series of videos shows all of the boss battles from a Final Fantasy VI Fewest Steps Run I recently completed. I finished the game with 8,860 steps, without doing any grinding and killing all of the bosses legitimately (no MP-draining kills or Vanish/Spell tricks). I did sacrifice some steps to get items needed for the final battles, but it was necessary for competing the game without grinding levels.

The battle with Whelk is pretty much the same no matter what kind of challenge you're playing... the only way to lose is to hit the shell several times in a row without healing.
So much for Narshe's snail-based security system...

lol @ snail based security system. Watching these videos of the bosses that you've posted is making me really wanna break out the emulator and play through this game again.
