In the first few months following the 1989 Queensland election QAGLR was successful in having gay law reform addressed by the new Queensland Labor Government. This debate between Nick Ward, chair of the Queensland Association for Gay Law Reform, and ex-National Party Minister Yvonne Chapman took place on ABC TV's 7.30 Report.
