I have a question i bought the translated one for PC just simply called Deus Machina demonbane which didnt have the combat control parts (still one heck of an amazing story period) Which one was it that has it where you can acctually control the combat? is that the PS2 one? or the sequel? and are they getting translated in the future?

The one with playable battles is the PC sequel, Kishin Hishou Demonbane. JAST, the publishers of the english version of the first game, said something about considering the release of the sequel if the first game sell well enough.

I purchased the english version and loved it, I hope they translate Hishou too.

Which is better between Kishin Houkou Demonbane (Ps2) and Kishin Hishou Demonbane (PC) ? ^^

By the way, Kishin Hishou is the sequel of the original game, also for PC. It's more action-based, you can control the Demonbane in battle. The list of games:

-Zanma Taisei Demonbane (PC, original visual novel)

-Kishin Houkou Demonbane (PS2 port of Zanma Taisei)

-Kishin Hishou Demonbane (PC, sequel)

I think that story-wise, the original game must be better than Hishou, but I'm not sure.

@MajingaZ Do you know where i can get Zanma Taisei Demonbane? i'm downloading Kishin Hishou Demonbane right now but if the first is better i would prefer to have this one ^^

There must be an .iso image to download somewhere, but if you want to enjoy the story the japanese version won't do.

Unless you can read japanese it's better to wait for the official english translation.

I think Houkou has new CGs, and the H content of the original visual novel is removed. But in terms of story, they are the same game. Maybe the PS2 version has some other new things included, but I don't know.

I hope they include the CGs of the PS2 port in the english PC version of the game.
