A tribute to the men who perished in the underground no 4 mine explosion. This video was found on the internet, therefore I have added it to this site to be found and cherished.
What a great tribute this is to the men who died and the men involved in the resue team...my dad was also a member of the rescue team. So thank you again for this tribute!
Very touching tribute to miners everywhere... and a reminder of the risk they face in regions of perpetual darkness just to etch out an honest living for their families! Very well made video, and a beautiful eulogy in song to those brave miners lost in the mines of Moura.
I will never forget this - my dad was in the rescue crew. To this day mine accidents make me feel ill. Thank-you for sharing the tribute....they should never be forgotten.
I am in the Broadmeadow mines rescue team in central Qld and it really makes me think about the dangers we face as a team and makes me happy Australian mines have become very saftey concious now and monitor gases very closely
As one the 8 survivors it bring back bad memories and the little surpport from big companies like bhp and what a joke the inquiry was.
