Maddie is a special girl looking for a special family. She is a 2-3 year old pit mix with significant birth defects to her front shoulders and legs. She was abandoned and left on her own to survive on the inner city streets.
Maddie is amazingly resilient using her uneven back legs, forearms and sheer willpower to propel her wherever she wants to go...and GO SHE DOES! Her face carries a constant smile and she is almost jolly in her efforts to "keep up" with everyone else. Maddie is amazingly sweet and seems not to mind her handicaps, even using her nose and jaw to maneuver herself into a comfy position for cuddling.
This little dog is a lesson in courage and determination as she enjoys life to the fullest. She is an inspiration to all who meet her with her bright eyes and happy grin in the face of such a daily struggle. She reminds all that with enough heart and courage, all things are possible.

Bull Terrier Rescue has a dog, T Rex, who was eight weeks old when I got him from LA County with what appears to be the same kind of birth defects. Dr. Ken Jones of Jones Animal Hospitcal in Santa Monica generously donates his time, digital x ray machine, he made a disc for me to share with volunteer orthopedic surgeons, because T Rex is a rescue. Dr. Jones wants to see T Rex for more X Rays. Where is Maddie right now? I would love to help her if I can. Mark @ 310 940-6600. cnclmark@gmail.com

I need to know what I would have to do, and what the initial cost would be to get this baby girl. I fell in love with her spirit and that beautiful smile! Does she do well with small dogs and cats? I have a 15 year old Chi, and 3 cats. I would love her soo much, like she has never known before. I have a great vet, she really is wonderful. I am going to leave you my email, please get in touch!
