And we know this is unprecedented because....???? We had time lapse photography hundreds and thousands of years ago to compare against these results to know that these results are unusual? Do you know what science is? It's not observing something for the first time and then claiming you know the causes and effects.
Stop making up bullshit like "indicators that human influence on climate is very little". Where do you make this stuff up? If you can prove your assertions, then write a paper, including calculations, and submit it to a peer-reviewed CLIMATE (not geology, not economics) journal.
@mrbrianmccarthy I see some people do need some education. Ever heard of ice core samples and analysing the gases trapped inside those samples. Antactica has ice layers several kilometers thick and dating back many millions of years. The biodiversity of plants and tree ring info on fossilized plants give an indication of the temperature at the time. Nobody disputes that human activity has an effect on climate. The question though is how much and several indicators points to very little.
@oomblikkies Hey retard: We're dealing with the world today, not 65 million plus years ago. And BTW,WHERE do you get your #'s for "CO2 levels during the Dinosaur era"? HMM?? They've only been able to accurately measure temperature/CO2 levels back to 650,000 years ago,and dinosaurs died over 65 MILLION years ago. So your info is BS. Face facts: Human activity is having an effect on the climate.
@aquariuscomfort Your comment is rather ridiculous because it implies that the dinosaurs were big because of high CO2. I think I have proved that despite high CO2, the ambient temperature did not change much from what it is today - that is the key. There is no proof that CO2 is a major climate driver. In the current economic meltdown, the right and most responsible thing to do is to allow each country to utilize the resource most cheapest to them.
@oomblikkies So you would like the dinosaurs to come back or have insects as big as your head? No one is saying the Earth will end, well the reasonable logical people anyway, only that it will change and makes things very complicated for us obviously.
ice anyone?
