About the entry:
LearnIT is tackling global illiteracy head on. We see that almost 1 billion people worldwide cannot read or write their own name as totally unacceptable. For this reason we have developed an educational system that runs on Tablet PCs and Microsoft Windows Mobile Devices. The system can be used by people who can't read or write and perhaps haven't even used technology before, enabling the people who need this the most to successfully begin to pick up the basics of literacy.
