At 10:39 PM, while untis were still operating on a barn fire, Company 13 (Summit Park VFD), Engine 71 (Nutter Fort VFD), and Engine 121 (Stonewood VFD) were alerted for another structure fire at 47 Tibbs Avenue in Summit Park near PK Addition. Engine 71 (w/5-Capt. Rohrbough), authority of Chief 13, diverted from the barn fire to respond to the other call while Engine 72 (w/3-FF Louden) hit the street.

E72 was the first arriving unit and found a one story dwelling with heavy flames visible from side D and C. Crews pulled an 1¾ attack line off of 72, forced through and made entry through the front door. E71 arrived on scene seconds behind 72 and stretched a second 1¾ attack line through the front door.

SPVFD E131 then arrived on scene and requested that Engine 11 (Anmoore VFD), Engine 51 (Mt. Clare VFD), Engine 21 (Bridgeport VFD), and Engine 111 (Spelter VFD) to be alerted due to most crews committed to the barn fire. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions while making entry but made a fast knockdown containing it within 15 minutes. After completing salvage and overhaul, 71 and 72 were both in service by 12:25 a.m.
