@kingbarry111 I think it's more than just that. I mean he is pulling a lot of moves that are impossible on a shortboard. It looks nothing like shortboarding and nothing like longboarding either. It's pretty cool...

@IhateyourVIEWS Its mainly because all of the "cool kids" are riding shortboards. What the mainstream public is lead to be the norm becomes what is believed as "fact" by most.

what is not cool about doing all the move's you can do on a shortboard on a longboard? i dont understand why surfing these days has to be put in categories. i personally prefere riding longboards because i can do almost has much as i can do on a shortboard, turns etc but i get the extra paddle power.

@kingbarry111 You make a point, but whats wrong with a bit of innovation? you don't see a lot of guys doing this today. so many surfers gets sucked into the idea that they only ride shortboards, longboards or retros..how about just surfing on whatever and show some innovation

Definitely the most inspiring of all the surf videos I've been watching. You can feel the soul in his surfing. Well I guess the music doesn't hurt either. Can somebody tell me the board he is surfing or at least the style of longboard. I'm just getting into it and this thing looks versatile.
