Gold Challenge, a new charity challenge which is part of the official mass participation legacy programme for London 2012, launched on Wednesday 24th November at Lord's Cricket Ground in London.

Konnie Huq and Gold Challenge founder, Dan Thompson, joined a host of Team GB Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls, over a hundred leading charities, National Sports Governing Bodies and Hugh Robertson MP, the Minister for Sport and the Olympics, at the official Olympic archery venue to launch this key pillar of the official mass participation legacy for London 2012.

Gold Challenge gives everyone the chance to challenge themselves in multiple Olympic and Paralympic sports, while raising money for their chosen charity. This unique social enterprise is set to inspire, engage and challenge the nation to play sport and raise money for charity in the build up to London 2012 and beyond.
