Does the Christian idea of original sin make sense? What does it say about human nature? Are we possessed by a stain of evil that drives us to do evil? Or are we simply imperfect beings who are not good enough at doing good? What consequences does this have for how we should understand morality and lead our lives? What is the significance of the knowledge of good and evil? Should we shun it or embrace it?

  • no matter how much work a does to become good he will fell, hence Jesus this is the NTs message

  • believing in Jesus kills guilt and deep concern about the old moral code

so its like going back to not knowing better, Believing our perfection is in Christ

  • just like the knowledge of good and evil disbelief in God is inherent

  • sin is choosing evil when you knew better Had adam and eve not known better it wouldnt have been counted as sin when they done otherwise they knew not to touch the tree

  • sin is imperfection
