the products works, BUT... it can suddenly act as a DHCP server, and if you have the product in a compagny all other computers will be managed by the wnce2001
I think its a great product, BUT netgear HAS TO SOLVE that dhcp problem.

do u have to press both wps buttons on the wnce2001, and router at the same time?

@soaffb1337 you can configure it manually by connecting it to a pc with a cable first.
Pretty simple, I had an older router without WPS myself, worked flawlessly.

the unit works well after i figured out that its NOT PLUG AND PLAY. I tried for hours to use it with my pioneer receiver and nothing.. .then after lotts of trolling through the net, i saw a few posts that stated if you hook it up to your pc and config the back end of it it will work.
Five minutes on the PC then moved it to my pioneer receiver and no problems with connection ....

Works with my Aiport Express using WPA-PSK. To configure connect it to a laptop and use the web interface to enter the Wi-Fi password etc.

Did not give the Ethernet device an IP (DHCP) Does not seem to be a real bridge function. Did not work witch a Xerox Printer...

Continued: I will also add that this is about FIVE feet away from the router with a clear line of sight. The Router is up pretty high on a shelf as is the WNCE2001. I'm also using the power cord and NOT the USB port. I have it hooked to my Directv HD DVR. If the light is red on the dongle, if I use the DVR to access the internet, the light immediately goes GREEN and works fine. When it stops using the net, it turns red again. Makes no sense.
Most info and videos emphasize using this on just home theater or connecting a game console. I would like to add that this works perfect for network expansion and if you have a 802.11N wireless router, tweak the bandwidth settings, etc to benefit this adapter, then use it anywhere in the house you would normally have to string cable to, or used wireless at 54g, then connect this to the PC, or 5 or 8 port switch to use. Doing this, I increased bandwidth to 250 Mbps instead of just 54.
