Police investigate gang killings

Two young men were killed when a Mercedes sports car was riddled with bullets from an SUV in what police believe was a "targeted shooting" in south Vancouver on Tuesday morning.

The men were found slumped inside the car, which still had its engine running and lights on, at Granville Street and 70th Avenue at about 2:15 a.m.

The Mercedes was heading south on Granville and was waiting at the light at 70th Avenue to turn left when a dark SUV pulled up beside it, said Const. Tim Fanning of the Vancouver police.
